Kelly Clarkson music video inspires extra to ask his boyfriend to marry him

Life imitated art for an extra in Kelly Clarkson's music video for new single Heartbeat Song when his boyfriend proposed to him while shooting the promo.

In the music video, various real-life couples retrace their courtship from the moment they met until now and when Nashville radio producer Zac Woodward and his boyfriend Chad Laboy showed off their wedding bands in a final scene, Woodward feared they'd gone too far.

But in a video he has since posted on YouTube.com, behind-the-scenes footage features Laboy pulling out a ring box and asking his boyfriend to marry him on one knee.

A stunned Woodward accepted.
