Kaycee Stroh is a new mother

High School Musical star Kaycee Stroh has given birth to her second child.

The actress gave birth to a little girl, named Lettie Louise, on Thursday (15Oct15) and she weighed in at seven pounds, nine ounces (3.6 kilograms).

The new baby is her second daughter with husband Ben Higginson, who tells Usmagazine.com, "Mom and baby are doing great! We couldn't be happier. We are so excited for her to meet her big sister, Zetta Lee."

Kaycee, who married Higginson in 2009 and gave birth to Zetta in 2013, announced her second pregnancy earlier this year (15) as a Valentine's Day (14Feb15) surprise, writing in a post on Twitter.com, "Here was my big Valentine's Day announcement... We are so excited!!!.. #herecomesanotherone #BabyWildCatnumber2."

"Zetta and I have a very packed schedule full of singing, dancing, reading and napping," she previously said of becoming a mother. "Whenever she goes down, I always make a mad dash to do the laundry, clean, put an audition on tape, do an interview, prepare for an event, or throw something in the Crock-Pot... I am trying very hard to raise her with healthy habits and live by example now. I just want her to know that if you're healthy and take care of yourself, then that is all that matters."

Kaycee is best known for playing Martha Cox in the High School Musical TV movie series.
