Katy Perry returns to tour

Katy Perry returned to the stage in Indonesia on Thursday (19Jan12) for her first concert since splitting from funnyman Russell Brand.

The comedian filed for divorce from Katy Perry last month (Dec11), citing "irreconcilable differences", and the pop star subsequently pulled out of a scheduled appearance at the People's Choice Awards and went into hiding.

Three weeks later and Katy Perry is ready to get back into the spotlight. Refusing to let her failed marriage derail her tour plans, she headed to Indonesia this week (begs16Jan12), ahead of her concert in Jakarta on Thursday.

In a Twitter.com post to fans, she wrote, "I'm SO EXCITED to FINALLY be in INDONESIA! U guys have waited forever."

And the I Kissed A Girl hitmaker was determined to have fun at the gig - during the show, Katy Perry handpicked a shirtless fan to join her onstage and planted a big kiss on his cheek.
