Katy Perry parties away John Mayer break-up woes

Katy Perry put her rumoured split from John Mayer behind her last week (beg20Aug12) by enjoying a wild night out with pals in Los Angeles.

The I Kissed a Girl hitmaker was reportedly left heartbroken after Mayer ended their short-lived romance.

However, the singer hit the Laurel Hardware venue with a group of girlfriends on Wednesday (23Aug12) to put the drama behind her, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

A source tells the publication, "She was taking photos of her pals. She seemed fine and happy. She hung in the back of the club, behind the bar, and stuck with her friends all night. She left after two hours."
