Katy Perry has launched a temporary pop-up store in Australia to give her fans the chance to see props and costumes from her previous concert tours.

The Dark Horse hitmaker is currently on tour Down Under and has set up the temporary shop in Melbourne, where fans can buy exclusive merchandise and see an exhibition of her stage show memorabilia.

The items on display include a cupcake dress worn on her California Dreams world tour, a robot from the E.T. music promo and a giant banana that Perry sat on while hosting the MTV European Music Awards in 2008.

Perry has hinted she will make an appearance at the store, writing on Twitter.com, "Aussies my 1st pop-up shop is now open in Melb(ourne)! Exclusive merch (merchandise) & props from Hello Katy & California Dreams Tours... Also you never know who might do a pop in to the pop up... (sic)"

The store opens on Wednesday (12Nov14) and will trade for six days before moving to Sydney for a week-long stay beginning on 21 November (14).
