Kate Bosworth planning high-tech fashion project
Actress Kate Bosworth is marrying her love for fashion and technology with a pioneering new venture.
The stylish Blue Crush beauty has already tasted success with a shoe line and a Topshop collection, and now she's looking for her next major fashion project.
Chatting to WWD.com at the South By Southwest Festival, Kate said,
"I can’t say much. I hate when I read that, but it’s true.
"But there’s a company that I'm working with right now and we’re
constructing a deal that's a really neat way of... I think
everyone’s trying to figure out how to make apps shoppable, whether
it’s Instagram or any of them."
"We are at the precipice where we're going to succeed at some
things, but most often you won't. I think it's important to
participate and explore and learn and grow and take that on to the
next thing," she added.
The stunning 33-year-old, who is married to her Big Sur director
Michael Polish, recently combined her fashion and tech passions
when she posted a montage of her preparations for the Golden Globe
Awards on Instagram.
The artistic footage featured Kate getting red carpet ready for the
awards show in January (16).
She added the caption: "It goes something like this...
#GoldenGlobes2016", and then name checked all the people who helped
her look her best, including her husband, who filmed his wife
getting ready for her big night out, make-up artist Pati Dubroff,
and Dolce & Gabbana, who dressed the actress.
Kate has long been a style icon and her high-fashion choices have
landed her front and center on many of the most important best
dressed lists, and she has previously credited having a wardrobe of
versatile staples as the key to her style success.
"I have always been attracted to fashion that is transitional,
meaning designs that carry a woman from season to season, from day
to night,” she told E! News.
