Shia LaBeouf & Mia Goth engaged - report

Shia Labeouf's aides are refusing to confirm or deny the actor has asked girlfriend Mia Goth to be his wife.

The movie star told a cashier at a Gelson's grocery store he was planning to wed Mia earlier this month (Mar16), according to Us Weekly, but neither star has substantiated the big news.

However, Goth has been spotted wearing a large diamond ring on her wedding finger, and last month (Feb16) Shia called the actress his fiancee while executing his performance art project #Elevate, during which he rode an elevator with strangers for an entire day.

The bizarre stunt was streamed live online.

Shia and Mia met and fell in love while shooting Nymphomaniac: Vol. II in 2012. Engagement rumors have been spiraling around the pair ever since the British actress appeared to be wearing an engagement ring at a 2015 Paris Fashion Week show.

The couple briefly split last summer (15) after the actor was caught on tape threatening Mia during a fight on the streets of Germany.

In the footage, LaBeouf was heard telling Goth he didn’t want to be abusive and, after walking away, he snarled, "If I'd have stayed there, I would have killed her."

He was snapped holding hands with his American Honey co-star Sasha Lane weeks later, prompting speculation he had moved on with another actress.

LaBeouf, 29, previously dated stylist Karolyn Pho and another British actress, Carey Mulligan. Mulligan has since wed her childhood sweetheart Marcus Mumford, the frontman for rockers Mumford & Sons. The couple became parents last year (15), when The Great Gatsby leading lady gave birth to daughter Evelyn.
