Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman remain silent over split reports

Actress Kate Beckinsale and her director husband Len Wiseman have fueled reports suggesting they have quietly separated by failing to silence rumors of a split.

The couple met on the set of fantasy thriller Underworld in 2003, and tied the knot the following year (04).

However, Wiseman has been raising questions about the status of their relationship in recent weeks after he was repeatedly photographed partying with young model C.J. Franco in Los Angeles, while Beckinsale has been busy filming Underworld 5 in Prague, Czech Republic.

The filmmaker's wedding ring was also noticeably missing during his latest night out on Tuesday (17Nov15).

Now multiple sources have revealed the Hollywood couple separated earlier this year (15), although insiders tell People.com "there has been no drama" in their break up.

"They are still friendly and spend time together in L.A. when Kate is there...," the source states. "They have both had complicated schedules and have grown apart."

Another insider tells UsMagazine.com, "They tried to make it work, but they end up falling back into old habits and fighting."

Representatives for Wiseman and Beckinsale have yet to comment on the split reports.

The 42 year olds have no children together, although Wiseman has helped to raise the actress' daughter Lily, from her previous relationship with actor Michael Sheen.
