Kardashian clan reunite to celebrate Rob's birthday
Rob Kardashian put rumors of a rift with his family to rest on Saturday (19Mar16) as they reunited to celebrate his birthday.
The family members uploaded snaps on social media as they partied at Nobu restaurant in Malibu, California, but Rob's new girlfriend, Blac Chyna, was nowhere to be seen at the bash.
Kim posted videos on Snapchat.com of her with daughter North and
husband Kanye West at the Irish-themed party, as Rob turned 29 on
St Patrick's Day (17Mar16). A touching family snap was also shared
by the Kardashian/Jenner clan as the reality stars shared their joy
at welcoming Rob back into the fold.
Estranged couple Kourtney and Scott Disick were also in attendance,
along with their eldest children Mason and Penelope, while Kendall
and Kylie Jenner, and the teenager's rapper boyfriend Tyga,
attended the family meal too.
Missing from the celebrations was sister Khloe, who tweeted that
she had to skip the event as she is sick.
"The kiddies got me sick," she wrote late on Saturday. "Feeling
like s**t today. Take your vitamins world."
Mother and manager Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble also
joined in the celebrations, but Rob's stepdad Caitlyn Jenner was
another notable absence from the party.
Rob rang in his 29th birthday with his model girlfriend with a trip
to Legoland in California on his special day, while they also
enjoyed a fast food treat at the In 'N' Out burger chain.
Chyna was reportedly not invited to the family meal, most likely
due to the rift that the new relationship has caused in the
Kardashian/Jenner household, as she was previously engaged to Tyga,
with whom she shares a young son. Chyna was also vocal in her
disgust at his subsequent relationship with the famous family's
youngest member, Kylie, who turned 18 last summer (15).
Sock entrepreneur Rob has been making his social media comeback in
recent weeks after having taken a step back from the limelight
after a well-publicized battle with his weight and reported
depression. He has skipped most of his families' events and has
barely appeared in their reality show, Keeping Up With The
Kardashians, for the past three years. He also famously didn't
attend his sister Kim's wedding to rapper Kanye in 2013, after
allegedly growing uncomfortable with the level of publicity and TV
cameras at the European extravaganza.
