Kanye West surprises Kim Kardashian with cinema birthday bash

Kanye West thrilled his pregnant wife Kim Kardashian with a surprise party at a cinema for her 35th birthday on Wednesday (21Oct15).

The rapper took his pregnant wife to the Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas at The Promenade in Westlake, California, where Kim thought she was just being treated to a movie.

Kanye secretly rented out the entire theater for a private party and viewing of the new Steve Jobs biopic for the birthday girl and her friends and family, who were asked to dress up as pregnant Kim so all the ladies were sporting bumps.

"My husband never ceases the amaze (sic) me!" she wrote on Twitter.com. "He had all of my family & close friends come dressed up as their best pregnant Kim look (fake baby bumps provided on arrival!)... Not sure if that was to make me feel less huge or just a fun cool theme but I loved it & had the best time ever!"

She also shared a picture of an extravagant birthday cake, and its message read, "Happy pregnant birthday Kim".

Among the guests on hand to fete the reality TV star were her sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall and Kylie Jenner with her boyfriend Tyga, mom Kris Jenner, and stepdad Caitlyn Jenner.

Noticeably missing was her sister Khloe Kardashian, who has been by her estranged husband Lamar Odom's bedside since he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel last week (13Oct15).

He was admitted to a Las Vegas hospital, and regained consciousness a few days later. On Monday (19Oct15), the basketball star was discharged and airlifted to a hospital in Los Angeles, where he is currently being treated.

Khloe has stayed off social media since the incident, but took to Instagram.com on Wednesday to break her silence with a touching post dedicated to her older sister.

"Happy birthday Keeks (Kim)!!," Khloe wrote. "I pray you know how loved and dope you are!!! You continuously amaze me by how you do it all. Thank you for always being there for everyone! Today is about you!!! Enjoy it Mrs West!!! I love you, My bestie, my sister, my rider!"

It was also reported on Wednesday that Khloe and Lamar have decided to call off their divorce. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star filed papers in December, 2013 after four years of marriage, but the two only signed the papers in July (15).

However, their divorce had yet to be finalized by a Los Angeles judge, and the new reports suggest that following the recent traumatic event, both Khloe and Lamar agreed to withdraw the divorce papers, and their request was granted by a judge and the case has been thrown out.
