Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting video-chats with young cancer patient

Actress Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting helped make a young cancer patient's wish come true by video-chatting with the British fan on Wednesday night (06May15).

The Big Bang Theory star was contacted by her fashion designer friend Nikki Lund, who discovered a post on Instagram.com from 13-year-old Nicole, who is terminally ill with cancer.

Nicole's dream was to meet her idol Cuoco-Sweeting, and the actress tells Us Weekly that she immediately agreed to connect with the young fan.

Cuoco-Sweeting says, "When I heard Nicole's story and how much she loved Big Bang Theory, I just had to connect with her in some way. Through her amazing family, and help from people like Nikki and others, we were able to FaceTime and send little videos straight to Nicole - her two thumbs up was a sure sign that, at least for a moment, she was happy.

"She is lucky to have such an amazing family and I felt honored to share in such a wonderful moment."

Lund adds that Cuoco-Sweeting's sitcom co-stars also sent videos and calls to Nicole as well.
