Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke finish 2013 on top of charts

Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke are officially the number one selling artists of 2013, claiming the best-selling album and top single.


The final sales of the year have been tallied and Timberlake's comeback album, The 20/20 Experience, sold 2.43 million copies, making it the only album than sold more than two million units last year (13).


The year's second-best selling album was from rap star Eminem, whose The Marshall Mathers LP 2 pushed 1.73 million copies. Country singer Luke Bryan's Crash My Party followed in third, and rockers Imagine Dragons' Night Visions and Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox came in fourth and fifth respectively.


As for the best-selling single in America, Robin Thicke dominated the category with his catchy track Blurred Lines, featuring Pharrell and T.I., raking in 6.5 million.


Rappers Macklemore & Ryan Lewis finished a breakout year at number two with Thrift Shop featuring Wanz, which sold 6.15 million.


Imagine Dragons scored the year's third biggest song, Radioactive, which was followed by country duo Florida Georgia Line's Cruise, and New Zealand teen Lorde's Royals at number five.
