Justin Bieber tour T-shirts recalled after mistake spotted

Merchandise for Justin Bieber's Purpose World Tour has been recalled after eagle-eyed fans reportedly spotted a spelling mistake on a T-shirt.

The Sorry hitmaker kicked off his tour at KeyArena in Seattle, Washington, on Wednesday (09Mar16), with an array of official merchandise on offer for fans. Among the options was a T-shirt which featured a glaring error in its white lettering, which read: "Many Are The Plans In A Person's Heart, But It Is God's Purose that Prevails".

One fan told TMZ.com that she paid $45 for a T-shirt, but didn't notice that "purpose" was spelt wrong until later.

However, Justin's team are determined to make things right, and announced on Friday (11Mar16) they are recalling the tops and anyone who bought one with a spelling error can exchange it for a corrected one.

The T-shirts were sold at the venue by Bitter Face Vending Inc. but were printed by a company called Bravado.

The embarrassing error is the second mishap to hit the singer's tour so far. On Wednesday (09Mar16), Justin was criticized for his grumpy nature during a meet and greet with fans before his Seattle show.

VIP guests had paid up to $2,000 for a selfie with Justin, but his disgruntled fans took to Twitter.com to reveal that the singer didn't even crack a smile.

"The year is 2016 and Justin Bieber still doesn't know how to smile in his meet and greet photos," one wrote, while another added, "People are paying $2k for a meet & greet with justin bieber & he doesnt (sic) even smile for the pics, two thousand dollars for an annoyed look."

Justin's tour stopped in Vancouver, Canada, on Friday, and will continue on to Portland, Oregon on Sunday (13Mar16).
