Justin Bieber starts the New Year with a U.K. number one
Justin Bieber celebrated the start of 2016 at the top of the U.K. charts.
The singer's Love Yourself, which ruled the countdown for three weeks before Christmas (15), returned to the top on New Year's Day (01Jan16) to become the first number one of the year.
Bieber's Sorry started 2016 in the number two spot, while Adele's
Hello moved up a spot to three. Her hit album 25 scored a sixth
week atop the album chart, ahead of Elvis Presley's If I Can Dream
and Bieber's Purpose.
The Canadian pop star celebrated the end of an amazing 2015 with
his rumored girlfriend Hailey Baldwin in Anguilla, where another
rumored couple, Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner, were spotted
earlier this week (beg28Dec15).
He also performed on New Year's Eve at Leonardo DiCaprio's private
party on the Caribbean island, where Robin Thicke and his
girlfriend April Love Geary, actors Kevin Connolly and Lukas Haas,
and Kate Middleton's younger brother James were among the
guests.
