Justin Bieber's uncooperative deposition hearing emerges online
Shocking footage from Justin Bieber's recent deposition has emerged online showing the troubled pop star behaving badly throughout the four-and-a-half hour meeting.
Reports which surfaced last week (ends09Mar14) suggested the Baby hitmaker stormed out of the hearing, relating to a photographer's assault case against one of his bodyguards, after the claimant's lawyer quizzed him about on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Now in footage shot at the hearing, obtained by TMZ.com, Bieber can
be seen growing increasingly angry and petulant as he is asked
questions about his life and career.
In one clip, Bieber smirks and refuses to answer a question,
telling the lawyer: "I don't have to listen to anything you have to
say." He then refuses to reveal whether he has been to Australia,
despite touring the country on several occasions. The star then
looks into the camera filming the deposition and winks.
In another segment, the 20 year old is asked if he knows superstar
Usher, who is credited with first discovering him as a teen in
YouTube.com videos.
He replies: "Yeah, Usher - that sounds familiar." The attorney than
asks, "Is it true that Usher was instrumental in starting your
career?" Bieber then muddles his words, saying, "I was discovered
on YouTube, I think I was detrimental to my own career (sic)."
At the point at which Gomez is brought up, Bieber's lawyer becomes
embroiled in an argument with the questioning attorney, telling
him, "Be a lawyer, man."
The singer then puts his head in his hands and demands, "Do not ask
me about her (Gomez) again."
The testimony hearing in Miami, Florida on 6 March (14) was held in
connection with photographer Jeffrey Binion's lawsuit.
He has accused Bieber's bodyguard Hugo Hesny of choking him and
ordering him to delete his images after the pop star took offence
at being snapped outside a recording studio last year (13).
