Justin Bieber's snapper attack case in the hands of District Attorney

The District Attorney of Los Angeles County will decide whether or not to press charges against Justin Bieber for his alleged 28 May (12) attack on a photographer.

Officials at the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department have completed an investigation into the incident, which took place at a shopping center in Calabasas - and they have handed the case over to prosecutors.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Nicole Nishida tells Celebuzz.com, "The case was just passed off to the D.A.’s office... It is up to the D.A. if they press charges."

The teenage pop superstar could now face criminal prosecution for the altercation.
