Justin Bieber's Latina lovely Jasmine Villegas is a new mum

Justin Bieber's one-time video girlfriend Jasmine Villegas is a new mum.

The Latina pop star, whose stage name is Jasmine V, welcomed a little girl, named Ameera, on Friday (19Feb16).

The baby's father is Vine star boyfriend Ronnie Banks, who assured fans his girlfriend and new daughter were doing fine after a difficult delivery.

"Jasmine had to get put to sleep so I was the only one experiencing it all," he wrote on social media. "At first Ameera wasn't breathing and for a few minutes was motionless then all of a sudden began to cry and move."

Banks has also posted an image from the delivery room and a cute photo of the new arrival on Instagram.

Jasmine revealed she was pregnant in an interview with Cosmo For Latinas magazine in November (15).

Former child star Villegas made an appearance in Bieber's music video for his hit single Baby and also joined him on the second leg of his My World Tour.

She also appeared in the Sean Kingston and Bieber music video for Eenie Meenie.
