Justin Bieber ditched Kanye West collaboration
Justin Bieber has dropped a song he was working on with Kanye West from his new album.
The Baby singer teamed up with Kanye and top rap producer Rick Rubin on tracks which were due to be featured on his forthcoming record Purpose.
Justin had previously been enthusiastic about the planned
collaboration with Kanye, describing the track as having a "really
cool New York Vibe", but the Canadian pop star subsequently
abandoned the project and the song remains unfinished.
"Kanye and Rubin were a part of the process, but they don't have
any records on the album," Justin tells Britain's KISS FM radio
station. "The Kanye song I did, we never finished it. It was just
kind of going in a different direction."
Although Purpose, which is released on 13 November (15), will be
without contributions from the two hip-hop superstars, it does
include songs featuring rappers Travi$ Scott and Big Sean.
