Justin Bieber boasts 'not a scratch' after street brawl
Justin Bieber has boasted about emerging from a fight unscathed after he was caught on camera brawling with a man in Ohio on Wednesday night (08Jun16).
The Sorry hitmaker, 22, was outside his hotel following a National Basketball Association (NBA) championship game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the visiting Golden State Warriors when he became involved in a fracas.
Video footage of the clash obtained by TMZ.com, shows the singer
appearing to exchange blows with another male as he is thrown to
the ground, before a woman intervenes and breaks up the fight.
Justin has since taken to social media to boast about his lack of
injuries by posting a pair of selfies. In one of the pictures, the
star holds his fist to his face.
"Not a scratch on this pretty boy," he wrote beside the black and
white shot, which has since been deleted, reports
GossipCop.com.
The other snap features Bieber pulling a face as he lies back on a
bed. He captioned the shot: "No hesitation." That one remains on
his Instagram page, although the words have been removed.
Meanwhile, Cleveland local Lamont Richmond has since come forward
and identified himself as the other man in the clash, and he
insists he and his female friends were not looking for a fight when
they approached Justin and asked for an autograph.
"The fool ran up on me," he says in a video posted online. "I was
with the girls, we just asked the d**k for an autograph."
Richmond also appears uninjured in the clip.
It is not clear if police are investigating the fight, which comes
a month after Justin urged fans to stop asking him to pose for
photos when out in public, insisting the snaps make him feel like a
"zoo animal".
"If you happen to see me out somewhere know that I'm not gonna take
a picture I'm done taking pictures," he wrote on social media last
month (May16).
He continued, "It has gotten to the point that people won't even
say hi to me or recognize me as a human, I feel like a zoo animal,
and I wanna be able to keep my sanity."
The post came after he was spotted sightseeing in Boston,
Massachusetts ahead of his Purpose tour dates in the city. He
reportedly refused to take photos with fans who spotted him out and
about.
