Julianne Hough's Rock of Ages injury flares up again

Julianne Hough has been laid low with a neck injury she originally sustained while shooting Rock Of Ages with Tom Cruise.

The 24-year-old star got hurt in 2011 during extensive dance training with Cruise for their movie musical, and he insisted on shutting down rehearsals so she could recover.

But the pain has once again flared up, and Hough admits she is in agony, tweeting, "Momma doesn't feel good today! Run down, scratchy throat... Tweaked my neck from an injury I got on rock of ages 2 years ago... Can't move!"

The Footloose beauty also posted a photo of her dogs, adding, "Babies are taking care of me! Love me unconditionally."

Hough previously praised Cruise for letting her rest after she injured herself: "Tom was really cool because I actually hurt myself. I've got that dancer mentality, like, 'I can keep going; I'm fine.' He's like, 'Julianne, this is what insurance is for. You've got a very long career ahead of you and a very long shoot ahead of you. Stop, and leave it to me.' I was like, 'Tom Cruise cares about me!' I had a Tom Cruise rescue."
