Julia Stiles enjoyed murderous role

Julia Stiles loved her murderous role in the hugely successful serial killer TV series Dexter.

The Save the Last Dance actress was shocked at just how much she enjoyed filming the gory scenes in the series, for which she has since received an Emmy nomination.

She tells The Hollywood Reporter, "I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the kill scenes and the sacredness of them. In the kill room, when she first gets to put the knife in. That was really special. As a fan of the show, I felt very privileged to be a part of them."
