Joss Stone judges a dog show
Joss Stone put her animal-loving credentials to the test over the weekend (21-22Sep13) by acting as a judge in a dog show.
The You Had Me hitmaker, who boasts a large collection of pet pooches at home, accepted the job after she was approached by organisers, who asked her to take a role on the panel.
Stone kept her promise and turned out to judge the dogs at the
event in Shropshire, England on Sunday (22Sep13).
The singer awarded the coveted Best in Show rosette to a Saint
Bernard named Goliath.
Organiser Emma Collings says, "I couldn't have wished for a better
judge. She threw herself into the whole day. She was just so down
to earth and you could just tell she loves dogs so much."
The event at Victoria Stilwell Dog Training Centre in the village
of Condover raised funds for Hounds For Heroes, a charity which
provides assistance dogs to injured and disabled war veterans.
