Jonas Brothers axe TV performance twice after double disasters

The Jonas Brothers axed a planned TV performance for a second time on Thursday (18Apr13) in the aftermath of the Texas fertiliser plant disaster after they were previously pulled off air due to the Boston Marathon bombing.

The band was initially due to play on the Today Show on Wednesday (17Apr13), but their set was called off after two blasts killed three people and left more than 170 injured during the annual Massachusetts race on Monday (15Apr13).

The Jonas Brothers' performance was rescheduled for Thursday, but they cancelled the gig again following a devastating explosion at a Texas fertiliser plant on Wednesday night (17Apr13) which reportedly killed up to fifteen people and injured around 150.

A post on the band's Twitter.com page reads, "Due to the tragic events in TX (Texas) our Today Show appearance has been postponed. Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the explosion."
