Johnny Depp stuns fans at Cry-Baby screening
Johnny Depp stunned film fans at an open-air cemetery screening of his cult 1990 film Cry-Baby on Sunday night (18Aug13) when he showed up to join them among the tombs.
The actor was a surprise guest at the ninth annual Johnny Ramone Tribute event at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, and stuck around to watch the John Waters movie, which was screened on the wall of the famous graveyard's mausoleum.
Depp joined a question and answer session featuring Waters,
co-stars Traci Lords and Ricki Lake, and James Intveld, who
provided the Pirates of the Caribbean star's singing voice in the
film.
Johnny Ramone's widow Linda, who posed for photos with the
celebrities paying tribute to her late husband, was thrilled by the
turn-out, telling The Hollywood Reporter, "This event is something
Johnny would have loved. Having these amazing autograph signings
and screening cult films - this is what Johnny was all about."
