Johnny Depp and Kristen Stewart's films among year's biggest flops
Johnny Depp's panned comedy Mortdecai and Kristen Stewart's American Ultra have been named among the biggest film flops of the year (15).
Chris Hemsworth and Sean Penn were also among the Hollywood royalty whose movies made it into Forbes magazine's list of the most-disappointing box office performers.
Johnny's disastrous comic-action caper took around $47.3 million in
ticket sales around the world, but landed in 10th place on the list
because it failed to recoup its production budget of $60
million.
Kristen's spy adventure was also named among the year's worst box
office disasters, along with Sean Penn's The Gunman and Chris
Hemsworth's hacker thriller Black Hat.
The title of 2015's biggest cinema calamity went to Bill Murray's
comedy Rock The Kasbah, which recouped just $2.9 million of its $15
million budget.
