John Legend introduces baby Luna to her great-grandma

John Legend introduced his baby daughter Luna Simone to her great-grandmother.

The musician, 37, and wife Chrissy Teigen, 30 welcomed baby Luna, their first child, into the world last month (Apr16).

On Thursday (26May16) John's grandmother traveled from his home state of Ohio to California to visit the one-month-old.

The Glory singer, real name John Roger Stephens, posted a touching image of his grandma holding Luna on Instagram which he captioned, "Granny came from Ohio to meet Luna today."

After giving birth to her daughter, Chrissy wrote on Instagram, “She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy.”

Since then the couple have delighted their social media followers by posting a number touching snaps of themselves with baby Luna online.

John has also revealed that he sings his own songs to his daughter to send her to sleep, telling Entertainment Tonight, "I have some new stuff from the next album that I sing to her."

The musician was taught to play piano by his other grand-mother, a church organist who passed away when John was 10-years-old.
