Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin appeared onstage at the 2017 Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday (11Mar17) with a broken leg.

The actress, walking with the help of crutches, was determined to attend the annual event for her kids, who she namechecked as she accepted the Favorite Family TV Show honor with her castmates.

"Even if I didn't want to come, I had to come because my kids wanted to be here," she told Entertainment Tonight. "But we're nominated for an award, so I was like, 'There's no way I'm missing it. I will crutch down the orange carpet, and I will be there'."

The 35-year-old's daughters, Zoie, eight, and Beatrix, six, were attending their very first awards show, while Jodie's fiance, Justin Hodak, also showed up. The TV star shares her two children with ex-husband Morty Coyle.

Sweetin broke her ankle after climbing a fence to retrieve one of Beatrix’s toys in January (17). She is expected to be on crutches for another two weeks and admits the injury has interfered with her wedding plans.

"Every time we think about it, it just keeps getting pushed a little bit further," she explained. "We'll get through the broken leg first."

The third season of Fuller House will begin filming on Monday (13Mar17), and Sweetin hopes to be a part of the hit family show for many more years to come.

"We'd love to do another eight or 10 seasons," she said. "As long as we can come up with really fun story lines, which I don't think there's any shortage of, we'll keep going and as long as the fans love us, we love doing what we do."
