Jesy Nelson injures ankle on stage

Little Mix star Jesy Nelson is on the mend after injuring her ankle while performing on stage in Malaysia.

The Black Magic singers were performing at Kuala Lumpur's Live at Life Center on Saturday night (21May16), and in the middle of doing a dance routine, Jesy managed to tear a ligament, forcing her to leave the stage halfway through the set.

Her bandmates Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock carried on the rest of the gig without her, and Jesy later took to Instagram to give fans an update on her condition.

She posted a close-up snap of her swollen ankle, and added in the caption, "Oh god guys it's always me. so so gutted I couldn't perform for the last part of the KL show tonight! Thanks to my 3 amazing girlies for carrying on without me!

"Torn the ligaments in my ankle but resting up for the Singapore show on Monday... Just maybe no dancing for me.
