Jessie J delighted with foot recovery

Jessie J has told of her delight after she managed to perform an entire song standing up for the first time since breaking her foot in June (11).

The Price Tag hitmaker has been wearing a surgical boot and walking with the aid of crutches after damaging a bone in her left foot during rehearsals for her tour.

On Monday (05Sep11) she put down her metal sticks and walked unaided for the first time since receiving the injury, and she followed it up by standing up during a gig that evening.

The British singer was performing at an industry event in London and took to her Twitter.com blog after the show, telling fans: "Just finished :) got everyone on there (sic) feet. Even I stood up for the first time and sang a whole song since June!!"

Since breaking her foot, Jessie has performed concerts while sitting on a golden throne or in a chair.
