Jessie J cancels tour due to ill health

British singer Jessie J has scrapped the remaining dates of her Australian tour after she was struck down with a "sudden illness".

The Price Tag hitmaker was due to complete the final three dates of her trek Down Under this week (beg16Mar15), but she announced they had been axed on Tuesday (17Mar15) due to an undisclosed medical problem.

A statement from the star reads, "Due to sudden illness I have unfortunately been medically advised to cancel my three remaining shows in Australia, so I can give myself time to rest and get better... I am extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause my fans in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide. If I could magic myself better and be there I would. I can't wait to perform for you all in the future. Thank you for your support."

She was due to perform in Melbourne on Tuesday and end the tour in Perth on Friday (20Mar15).
