Jessie J cancels Perth shows

Jessie J has disappointed thousands of fans in Perth, Australia by axing all her concerts in the city.

The Price Tag hitmaker is currently Down Under to play a series of shows as part of her Heartbeat Tour, but she fell ill with "vocal exhaustion" during a flight from Brisbane to Perth.

She cancelled her performance at the Future Music Festival at the last minute on Sunday (04Mar12) to rest her voice, but her condition had not improved by Monday (05Mar12), so she also axed her solo show at the city's Challenge Stadium.

In a post on Twitter.com, the British pop star writes, "Vocal exhaustion is s**t. I am so sorry to all my fans in Perth who were going to see me at Futuremusicfest and Heart Beat Tour. I did not expect this to happen and sometimes I cannot prevent being run down... I wish I had special powers to get my voice back."

Jessie J is next due to take to the stage on Wednesday (07Mar12) in Melbourne.
