Jessica Chastain makes fun of co-star Chris Hemsworth as he gives up Sexiest Man Alive title

Jessica Chastain poked fun at her The Huntsman sequel co-star Chris Hemsworth on Wednesday (18Nov15) as he gave up his People's Sexiest Man Alive crown.

Sportsman and model David Beckham took over the coveted position from the 2014 title holder and the actress decided to have a little fun at the Australian hunk's expense.

The red head shared a photo of David Beckham's People cover and wrote: "Oh man... you must be devestated (sic). I know how much this title meant to you. @chrishemsworth #thehuntsman."

The actor responded by tweeting, "Thank u @jes_chastain for your kind words & timely reminder that I'm now over the hill #TheHuntsman #SexiestManAlive."

Chastain ended the exchange by adding, "@chrishemsworth Isnt Beckham older than you? Dont sweat it Chris. You have an A+ personality and thats all that matters (sic)!"

Hemsworth also posted his Sexiest Man Alive resignation notice online, writing, "Although I knew for the past 12 months this day would come, it still hurts. As I fade into my weathered, wrinkled exterior, I hope my time will be remembered then forgotten and then forgotten some more (insert crying music)."

He ended the post by adding, "David Beckham is so dreamy and has cool tats (tattoos)."
