Jessica Alba fractures toe

Actress Jessica Alba is nursing a fractured little toe after a stunt for her new action film Mechanic: Resurrection went awry.

The Fantastic Four beauty has been left hobbling around with a damaged pinky after a fight sequence on a recent movie shoot in Thailand didn't quite go to plan.

She explains, "I was shooting an action movie and I sort of fractured my pinky toe... I was fighting a big guy. This guy smashed me a few times but I got him back pretty good. I kicked him in the gut a few times for doing that."

She forced her feet into high heels for a promotional appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which aired on Friday (06Feb15), but confessed she was struggling to hide her pain.

She said, "I wasn't sure if I was gonna wear heels coming out here (for the interview), but I'm putting all my weight on the ball of my foot at the front. It hurts so bad!"
