Justin Bieber surprises burns victim with TV appearance

Pop superstar Justin Bieber recently honored a young fan recovering from severe burns by making a surprise appearance during an episode of medical talk show The Doctors.

Kilee Brookbank, 16, was invited onto the Los Angeles-based program to discuss her brave recovery after surviving a freak explosion at her Ohio home in November (14), and she was left stunned after her pop idol made an unannounced visit.

During the appearance, which aired on Thursday (05Feb15), Bieber presented Brookbank with flowers and greeted her with a kiss on the cheek, before lavishing praise on her.

He said, "You inspire us so much. I think you inspire everybody in this audience, everybody across the world - you inspire me. I wanted to come here - I couldn't just do a video. I wanted to be here!"

Show producers had initially asked Bieber to record a video message for the fan, but he insisted on stopping by to meet her in person, according to Eonline.com.

After the taping, the singer went one step further and hung out with the teen and her parents in his dressing room, before inviting them to join him in the studio for a recording session.

Brookbank says, "Justin was so kind and sweet to all of us. The chance to meet Justin Bieber is something I never thought I would get."
