Jennifer Lopez won't be gambling away her fortune in Las Vegas
Jennifer Lopez won't be hitting the casinos in Las Vegas during downtime from her upcoming Sin City residency, because she hates gambling with her own money.
Unlike her mother, who won a $2.4 million slot machine jackpot in Atlantic City, New Jersey a decade ago, J.Lo has no interest in hitting the floor to chance her luck.
"Putting one quarter in there hurts me," she told chat show host
Jimmy Kimmel. "I'm like, 'I can't do it'. I'm not a gambler that
way. I'll do it for fun once in a while; I'll go to roulette, which
is the worst odds."
But Jennifer admitted she's fascinated by her mother Guadalupe's
gambling skills, adding, "I would like to say she's a slot expert,
she is. She can tell you about every single machine, which ones to
play, what time of the day to play them, how you play them.
"When you watch her, it's like watching a genius... It's like Rain
Man. I watch her and I'm fascinated."
The singer's All I Have show will begin at the Planet Hollywood's
AXIS Theater later this month (Jan16).
