Jennifer Lopez teases new single
Jennifer Lopez is back with a brand new single which she will perform on the finale of American Idol.
The American Idol judge teased track Ain’t Your Mama in a Facebook Live video to promote the final episodes of talent show franchise. It’s the first single she’ll release through her new deal at Epic Records.
Speaking about her performance on American Idol this week
(beg04Apr16), Jennifer, 46, told one fan to expect high energy
levels, before playing a snippet of the new track.
Jennifer can be heard singing in the preview: “I ain’t going cook
all day, I ain’t your mama... I ain’t going to do your laundry, I
ain’t your mama. Boy, I ain’t your mama.”
Fans will be able to download the track following the American Idol
finale on 7 April (16).
The Shades of Blue star also shared her favorite thing about being
an Idol judge is having a front row seat at the beginning of a
young pop star's career.
Finalists Trent Harmon, La'Porsha Renae and Dalton Rapattoni will
battle it out this week for the honour of being the final American
Idol champion.
The American Idol finale is spread over three nights with a
retrospective special on Tuesday (05Apr16), and the eliminations
broadcast on Wednesday (06Apr16) and Thursday (07Apr16). Kelly
Clarkson and Carrie Underwood will also share the Idol stage with
Jennifer.
