Jennifer Lopez's tears over failed romances

Jennifer Lopez fought off tears during a show in Connecticut on Saturday night (22Oct11) after becoming emotional during a look back at her past romances.

The singer was performing at the Mohegan Sun in Montville when one love song and the performance accompanying it proved too much.

Before belting out If You Had My Love, J.Lo told fans, "You want to talk about love? I can talk about love. Oh, the stories!"

At the end of the song, Jennifer Lopez said, "That's the first song I wrote about love. And this is the last song I wrote about love. A lot has happened since then!"

Dancers portraying ex-boyfriends Sean 'Diddy' Combs and Ben Affleck and estranged husband Marc Anthony then joined her onstage as she sang a new tune, during which she appeared be become emotional.

As she paused, a camera zoomed in and caught her fighting back tears. Fans watching her distress on a big screen above the stage gave her a standing ovation.
