Jennifer Lawrence's Silver Linings Playbook wardrobe goes up for auction

Fans of Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence can get their hands on a piece of cinema history - the star's costumes from Silver Linings Playbook are up for auction.

The feisty 22 year old walked away with the Best Actress prize on Sunday (24Feb13), and now memorabilia collectors are hoping to cash in on her success.

Auction house bosses at Nate D. Sanders put several items Lawrence wore in the film, including the tight pants she wore in the movie's climatic dance scene, up for sale online on Tuesday (26Feb13).

There are five items altogether, and auction experts expect the lots to sell for between $500 and $1,500 .

A spokesperson for the auction house says, "She's now on the record for having an Academy Award, which definitely gives it (the items) status now."

The auction will run until Thursday (28Feb28).
