Lily Aldridge designs clothing range

Supermodel Lily Aldridge is the latest catwalk queen to turn fashion designer.

The Victoria's Secret beauty, who is married to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill, has teamed up with T-shirt brand Velvet by Graham & Spencer to come up with a capsule collection.

However, despite throwing herself into the new project, Aldridge insists she won't be retiring from the runway anytime soon.

She tells Teen Vogue, "I love my job and the creative things I get to do, and this is just a new branch of my career that I'm so excited about. I love clothes and fashion, so getting to design this collection was basically designing the wardrobe that I want to wear this summer.

"It's every girl's dream to create their own clothing line! I'm still a model and a Victoria's Secret angel, but I do love getting to do these little creative ventures."

The brunette reveals her rock star husband and daughter Dixie even inspired some of her designs: "I started designing stuff, and then one piece came out and it totally reminded me of Dixie, my daughter, because it's so beautiful and makes me so happy every time I see it. Then there was a T-shirt that my husband loved, so I named it 'The Caleb' because he likes to see me in a cool T-shirt with some jeans and heels. It was so fun to dedicate certain pieces to people, so by the end I named each one after people I know and love."
