Jason London denies behaving badly during arrest
Actor Jason London has vehemently denied reports suggesting he lashed out at cops during an arrest in Arizona on Sunday (27Jan13).
The Dazed And Confused star ended up in handcuffs after he was involved in a bust-up during a night out at the Martini Ranch bar in Scottsdale.
According to a report on TMZ.com, London was thrown out of the
venue after punching a bouncer, and allegedly became aggressive
with police who arrived at the scene, hurling insults and
homophobic slurs at them.
The 40 year old is also said to have bragged about being a "rich
and famous actor" before defecating in the back of the police
car.
London was arrested for disorderly conduct/fighting and assault,
but he took to his Twitter.com page on Tuesday (29Jan13) to protest
his innocence, vowing to set the record straight.
In a series of posts, he writes, "Guys, the TMZ report is a total
f**king lie. I got jumped by three 250 pound bouncers. They knocked
me out and beat me for several minutes. I would never say or do the
c**p they are reporting. Have faith in me. The truth will come out
and you will see.
"Some guy (in the club) thought I was hitting on his girl and had
me jumped (attacked). My wife was in the next room, had no idea
what even happened. I hate Arizona. Wait till you see the real
pictures. I have a right orbital fracture and sinus fracture. The
truth will win."
