Jason Derulo makes performance comeback after neck injury

Jason Derulo returned to the stage for the first time since his 2012 neck injury with a performance on TV on Tuesday night (07May13).

The Whatcha Say singer fractured a vertebrae in his neck after falling on his head while practising a dance routine, and he underwent several months of rehabilitation to recover.

He proved he is back to full fitness when he performed an energetic routine for his new single The Other Side on talent show Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday.

The high-octane performance began with the star in a head-stand before dancing his way through the three-minute set.

The comeback coincides with an E! TV show charting his accident and recovery, The Untold Story: Jason Derulo, which will be broadcast on 14 May (13).
