Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr wed

Country singer Jason Aldean exchanged vows with Brittany Kerr during an intimate ceremony in Mexico on Saturday (21Mar15).

The Big Green Tractor hitmaker wed the former American Idol contestant in a romantic ceremony in front of family and friends, after popping the question in September (14).

Aldean tells Us Weekly, "This is the best day ever - I've got my girl here, my friends, my family - it's the best day ever."

Kerr adds, "Today has been the best day of my life. I feel like the luckiest woman to have been able to marry my best friend."

The couple first hit headlines in 2012 when pictures of Aldean kissing Kerr appeared online while he was still married to his high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery.

The following year (13) he filed for divorce, and went public with his romance with Kerr in 2014.
