Janelle Monae scraps Australasian tour due to illness

Singer Janelle Monae has axed her entire Australasian tour after falling ill.
The R&B sensation had teamed up with singer Kimbra for the Golden Electric Tour, which kicked off Down Under earlier this month (May14).
She called off shows in Melbourne on Saturday (17May14) and Sydney
on Monday (19May14) as she battled a mystery illness, but now
promoters confirm all dates across Australia and New Zealand have
been cancelled.
The statement from Live Nation reads, "Due to Janelle Monae's
continuing illness it has been confirmed that the remainder of The
Golden Electric Tour has been cancelled and there will be no
rescheduled performances."
