Saoirse Ronan has been inspired to tackle a theatre role after seeing her Atonement co-star James Mcavoy in Macbeth.
The Irish actress, who appeared alongside the Scot in Joe Wright's 2007 film, recently went to see him on stage in London in a new production of William Shakespeare's famous tragedy, and admits she now wants to follow in his footsteps by taking on a theatre role.
She tells Britain's Stella magazine, "James' version (of Macbeth)
was very current. It's post-apocalyptic in its setting and the way
they spoke the words was very natural, which I prefer. I'd love to
do theatre."
