Jaimie Alexander romantically linked to Will Forte

Actress Jaimie Alexander has reportedly embarked on an unlikely new romance with comedian Will Forte.

The Thor beauty called off her engagement to fellow actor Peter Facinelli in February (16), and now it appears she has moved on by enjoying a number of dates with The Last Man On Earth star Forte, according to Us Weekly.

A source tells the publication the odd couple met at a film premiere in New York City, and has been slowly building up its relationship for the past couple of months.

"They really like each other," the insider says, before adding, "They're just having fun. (They) are not serious yet."

At the time of Jaimie's break-up with Peter, their representatives blamed the difficulties of maintaining a long-distance relationship for the separation.

A joint statement read: "Due to conflicting family and work commitments on opposite coasts, and after much consideration, Peter and Jaimie have chosen to part ways amicably and remain good friends."

Twilight star Peter, 42, and 32-year-old Jamie were first linked in November, 2012, eight months after the actor split from his wife, Jennie Garth.

Jaimie was also previously linked to Heroes actor Milo Ventimiglia in 2010.

Meanwhile, Will, 46, has been single since splitting from his TV co-star January Jones. The Mad Men actress plays Forte's love interest on hit comedy The Last Man On Earth, and they dated for a few months until August, 2015.

Publicists for Jaimie and Will have yet to comment on the rumors of a new relationship.
