Jaime King is a mom again

Model/actress Jaime King is a mom again after giving birth to her second child.

The former Hart of Dixie star and her director husband Kyle Newman welcomed a son last week (ends19Jul15), and the actress took to Instagram.com on Monday (20Jul15) to share the happy news.

King posted a photo of herself breastfeeding the newborn in the hospital, with her husband and their two-year-old son James-Knight by her side.

She added the caption, "We are SO happy to welcome to the world our new baby boy! Born Thursday, July 16th!"

Newman also posted a photo of his wife and James-Knight, writing, "HE'S ARRIVED! So happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world... Mom & Baby are well."

The arrival of the newborn is also happy news for King's good friend Taylor Swift, who has been appointed the little one's godmother.

King and Newman, who wed in 2007, previously named Jessica Alba and Topher Grace as the godparents to son James-Knight.
