Iggy Azalea spent 12 hours playing blackjack before Billboard awards

Iggy Azalea got lucky before she hit the stage with Britney Spears at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (17Apr15) after spending 12 hours gambling in Las Vegas.

The Pretty Girls rapper reveals she's a big fan of Sin City's casinos and spent half a day on the blackjack tables at one gambling mecca the day before her big performance with Britney at the MGM Grand.

Speaking to news show Extra, she said, "I played blackjack for 12 hours straight yesterday. I changed clothes in the bathrooms. I'm awful.

"I wouldn't leave, I refuse to lose, that's my motto... I came up very on top."

Her basketball star boyfriend Nick Young confirmed he had to drag her away, adding, "She was there from 3pm to two in the morning, it was crazy."

Azalea was also lucky at the Billboard Music Awards, picking up honors for Top Rap Song, Top Streaming Artist and Top Rap Artist.
