Iggy Azalea asks Demi Lovato to be a bridesmaid

Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has recruited pop pal Demi Lovato to serve as a bridesmaid at her upcoming wedding.

The Black Widow hitmaker became engaged to basketball star Nick Young earlier this month (Jun15) and the bride-to-be has already started to plan for her big day next year (16).

Azalea appeared in a 'carpool karaoke' skit with British comedian James Corden on his The Late Late Show on Thursday night (18Jun15) and revealed she has asked Lovato to be a big part of her big day.

In the pre-taped segment, she said, "(I'm having) four bridesmaids. Literally, everyone I'm friends with... Demi Lovato's gonna be one of my bridesmaids. And she'd better sing at my wedding!"

Lovato won't be the only famous face at her nuptials if her fiance gets his way - he's trying to book R&B icon R. Kelly to hit the stage for a duet at the reception, although Azalea admits she's not quite sure about Young's choice of song.

She explained, "Nick wants to have R. Kelly perform at our wedding, so he can sing Marry The P**sy with R. Kelly. I don't know what's gonna happen, but he's trying to make it happen."

During the comedy segment, Azalea and Corden sang along to a number of her hits, including Black Widow and Fancy, in the car, and then stopped by a Los Angeles bridal salon so the hip-hop star could try on her first wedding dress. Into The Woods star Corden also joined in the fun by donning an ivory silk gown, complete with a veil.
