Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson have had their hands and feet immortalized in cement in a ceremony in Los Angeles, California.

The stars of The Hunger Games trilogy made their imprints outside the TCL Chinese Theater on Saturday (31Oct15), in a Hollywood rite of passage.

After being introduced by comedian Conan O'Brien, the trio thanked the audience and fans of the fantasy saga.

"I did not know we were going to have to make a speech," said Jennifer, who plays Katniss Everdeen. "We're very grateful - I think I can say that on behalf of everyone here. I can't remember your names. I'm just kidding, I know your names."

"I'm honored to share it with you both," Liam told his co-stars. "I love you both so much. You're my best friends, I love you. Let's just be friends forever."

Josh thanked Suzanne Collins, who penned the novels that were later immortalized into the hit movies. "(Hunger Games fans) give us the energy to keep going, and we really appreciate it all. This means a lot to all of us," he said.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 is due for release later this month (Nov15).
