Hugh Jackman thanks fans for support after gym attack

Hollywood star Hugh Jackman has thanked fans for their support following the arrest of a woman who approached the actor in a gym armed with an electric razor.

Katherine Thurston has since been charged with stalking after she accosted the Les Miserables star at his New York City gym on Saturday morning (13Apr13) and threw the razor at him.

After the incident, Jackman's devotees rallied round to offer their sympathies, and the actor took to his Twitter.com account on Wednesday (17Apr13) to praise his followers for their well wishes.

He writes, "Thank you all for your support over the past days... really appreciate all your kind words."
